Customers booking On-Line will be directed to PayPal to pay the deposit,customers not having a PayPal account can click on "If you do not have a PayPal account Click Here" in the first page of PayPal and pay by their Credit Card (Securely Encrypted). Wedding bookings are dealt with personally. We do not disclose your details to any one. Please be aware that automatic refunds for cancelled bookings can only be given within 50 days of the original booking and a 10% banking charge will be subtracted from the original booking costs, after 50 days we have to do it manually via our Bank and there will be a 15% charge for this. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 72 hrs of arrival time. All bookings made within 7 days of arrival will be required to pay in full at the time of booking and no refunds will be given for these bookings if subsequently cancelled.

Chateau Challain offers an exclusive and luxurious bed and breakfast in the Loire valley, our accommodation ranges from luxury suites and a 2 bedroom self catering Gate house, in a prestigeous 19th century chateau surrounded by it's own 33 hectare park. This romantic castle is centrally located in an area of France offering the traveller wonderful tastes and flavours in the surrounding regions. We believe the chateau is the ultimate luxury bed and breakfast venue in France,of course you are more than welcome to stay longer and enjoy our gourmet cuisine. For those that wish to stay and enjoy our facilities without the grandeur of the Chateau we offer a Gite (self contained 2 bedroom apartment in the Gatehouse) this is normally self catered but you can book our Gourmet evening meals as well.

The Château de Challain is located only thirty minutes outside the town of Angers in the Loire Valley, the region

of Castles, and only one and a half hours from Paris by TGV (High Speed Train, a wonderful experience).

The Castle is easy to get to from England and Ireland by flying direct into Nantes airport.

The Chateau is situated at the corner of a quaint village in the western Loire Valley, the chateau region of France. The ultimate destination for your Castle Wedding or Romantic Bed & Breakfast holiday in France.

Weddings at the Chateau

The Château is full of magic for the wedding couple, and offers a charming retreat for the guests. There is a town chapel within walking distance, and a smaller, private chapel in the Château, which features a stunning hand-painted gold ceiling.

Small receptions include cocktails, a four-course meal, and in-house service.
Regional wine and champagne are also available, prices vary. Larger receptions are available through Traiteur (auxiliary caterers, ours are Michelin stared). Rates change depending on the season and promotions.
